NECTFL offers awards for professionals and students as well as scholarships for conference attendance and for academic pursuits for secondary and postsecondary students.
The Northeast Conference is a proud participant in the ACTFL National Teacher of the Year program. By recognizing the state and district teachers of the year from our partner organizations, we celebrate the quality education they bring to our profession. In selecting a NECTFL Teacher of the Year, we proudly nominate a finalist for the ACTFL National Teacher of the Year to honor the work of language teaching, advocate for world language education at all levels for all learners, and celebrate the achievement of deserving teachers.
