Nominations for Northeast Conference Awards
The
Awards Committee of the Board of Directors requests the input of Academic Council members on possible
nominees for our two primary Northeast Conference Awards. Links to past recipients of these awards are listed on the awards page. Please fill out the form below and submit it
to any member of the Board of Directors or mail it to the address at the bottom.
The Nelson H. Brooks Award is given to a
member of our profession in recognition of outstanding contribution to the
field. Individuals nominated should have
demonstrated distinguished service and a
long record of leadership.
The James W. Dodge Award is presented to
someone outside the field in
recognition of advocacy on behalf of our
profession. The person’s
contribution should reflect an outstanding commitment to the study of foreign
languages and cultures.
